Taken during a canoe safari down the Zambezi river on the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. This picture taken from the Zambia side, with Zimbabwe on the horizon. At this point the river flows between the Mana pools national park on the Zimbabwe (South) side and the Lower Zambezi national park on the Zambia (North side). The river has high populations of crocodiles and hippos, with large numbers of elephants and other animals found in the national parks.
