Beautiful. The palace is just beautiful. I'd dare to say that the gold in the main hall shines brighter than the one in Versailles. That is also gorgeous.
Rococo palace built in 1752 as a summer residence for a son of Dom João V, it then became the main royal residence until Napoleon took Portugal in 1807. Tour the opulent gardens and rooms.
Palácio onde viveram os reis portugueses. Era a casa de verão deles. Nesse local visitamos diversos quartos e um deles o de D. Pedro I, onde nasceu e morreu. Possui também lindos jardins.
Vale muito a pena estar nesse local tão rico e especial para a história de Portugal e Brasil. Muito bonito, no inverno ñ estava cheio, pouquíssimos turistas.
