I'd say go in the daytime, because we went at night and a lot of the interior was not lit up. I could see where the light from the windows would help. A great church you otherwise!

The las arquitectural work of Michelangelo. A bit forgotten by tourists and a gem amidst too many churches. It has some Vatican artwork and some hidden surprises.
At night with light on, without too much crowd - you can enjoy serene thoughtful moments. And imagine how this city ruled much of the world back in the days.
